En 1989, Large Professor rejoint le groupe Main Source au coté de K-Cut et Sir Scratch. Ils sortiront l'album "Breaking Atoms" en 1991 avec le fameux titre "Live At The BBQ" featuring Akinyele, Joe Fatal & Nas qui fait sa 1ère apparition sur CD.
A la fin de l'année Large Pro sortira son nouveau projet solo intitulé "Main Source", voici un extrait:
